About the Teen Room

The Teen Room at Cary Library serves patrons in grades 6-12. Teens are welcome to use the Teen Room to read, study, socialize with friends, or just hang out and ponder the world! In addition to lots of books, we have four desktop computers, six laptops, phone chargers, and headphones. We even have textbooks used at Lexington High School available for teens who want to use them while studying at Cary.

The Teen Room hosts numerous programs to keep teens engaged and connected with each other and the library. Currently, we offer four different  monthly book clubs, and many other in person and virtual programs. Stay on top of our programming events and registration deadlines, news updates, and more by signing up for the monthly Teen Room newsletter and by checking our the Events & Programs Calendar.

Is there a program or activity you think would be a fun addition to the Teen Room?  Drop the Teen Services Manager an email at lexteen@minlib.net and let her know your programming ideas!
