Cookbook Club
WHEN: 7 PM to 8 PM on the second Tuesday of every month
Do you enjoy cooking, sharing ideas and meeting new people? If so, join our new Cookbook Club and make connections over food! Each month, we will choose a cookbook from which participants will select and prepare a recipe for the group to taste.
Monday Night Book Club
WHEN: 7 PM to 8:30 PM on the third Monday of every month
Mystery: Death by the Book
WHEN: 10 AM to 11:30 AM on the second Monday of every month
Join our lively group to “investigate” different types of mysteries! We choose the sub-genre, and a month before our meeting a Cary librarian compiles a list of titles for us. It’s a different take on the conventional book club. We discuss our chosen book and discover new mystery authors recommended by fellow members.
Nonfiction Book Club
WHEN: 7 PM to 8:30 PM on the last Monday of every month, unless indicated otherwise.
Social Justice Book Club
WHEN: 7 PM to 8:30 PM on the first Wednesday of every month
Bending Toward Justice: A Social Justice Book Club - All welcome to join this book club, reading both nonfiction and fiction books related to issues of justice. Selections will be made by the group and discussion leaders may rotate, depending on the composition and size of the group.
