Passes to Museums, Parks, & Cultural Attractions

Looking for fun? Vacation week, visitors in town? No matter the season, we offer free or discounted admission to the following museums and attractions in New England.

Here’s how to get started:

Choose a pass and a date for your visit. Patrons who live or work in Lexington and hold a valid library card may reserve one museum pass per day. You will need your library card to reserve a pass. If your library card number does not work, please contact Cary Library at 781-862-6288 or Ask a Librarian.

We offer passes in three formats: printable, coupon, or returnable. Printable passes can be printed at home (some can be displayed on a mobile device). Coupon and returnable passes must be picked up at Cary Library Adult Service Desk(s) on our main level.

  • Instructions for accessing and using your pass will be sent to the email address you provide.
  • Emails will be sent by support@assabetinteractive.com.
  • For questions, please reply to CaryMuseums@minlib.net.
  • To cancel a reservation, use the link provided in your email.

When available, you may reserve a museum pass up to 60 days in advance.

Attention Cary Library Patrons:

If you are seeking to make a reservation to John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum through our Museum Pass Program, it is no longer active.

  • As of July 2024 a valid Massachusetts library card grants the cardholder 50% of one admission ticket.
  • Please present your physical or digital card at the admissions desk to receive the discount. Visitors aged 12 and under are admitted free.
  • Questions? Call JFK Library Visitor Services Department at 617-514-1600
  • Or visit the JFK Library & Museum Admissions webpage

If you are picking up a returnable or coupon Museum Pass, please note Cary Library will have adjusted hours beginning 8/26/24 for 4 - 6 weeks (as the contractor prepares the lower level for major demolition during weekdays) and plan accordingly. Thank you for your patience.

NOTE: We always recommend checking the institution’s website prior to your visit. If you have any questions about redeeming your pass or purchasing tickets, please contact them directly.

The Library will not offer any reimbursements for museum admission.
