Be a teen volunteer

We are delighted to offer teens the opportunity to volunteer at Cary. Volunteers who are currently on our lists will receive emails advising them when volunteer shifts are available.  Teens new to volunteering at Cary will need to first attend one volunteer orientation session before being added to our email list. Spring volunteer orientation sessions will be held in the Learning Center on 4/25@4:15 PM and 5/3 @4:15PM. Registration through the event calendar is required.  It is only necessary to attend a single orientation session to be able to become a teen volunteer.

Note - All library volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. We work with patrons from any local high school as well as homeschool patrons who are of high school age. Teens may earn community service credit for their work at the library, but it is important to check the specifics of any community service requirements first.
