Activities

• Challenge Zone – Large Meeting Room & Hallway (10:00 am – 3:00 pm)
  Test your problem solving abilities in the LEGO® Challenge Zone: design a race car, build an earthquake proof tower, build horizontally, and more!
• Coloring Table – Children’s Room
  Help color some GIANT! minifigures or work on one of our LEGO® themed coloring sheets.
• Family Build – Large Meeting Room (opens at 10:00 am)
  Explore your creativity with the Library’s LEGO® bricks. Work alone or with someone else. What will you create?
• Family Build (DUPLO) – Children’s Room play area
  Explore your creativity with the Library’s DUPLO® bricks. Work alone or with someone else. What will you create?

• 10:00 - 11:30 am – Robotics Workshop with The Parity Bits – grades 4-12 – Teen Workshop
  Registration required.
• 10:00 am – 3:00 pm – Lower Level Hallway & Large Meeting Room Open
  Test your problem solving abilities in the LEGO® Challenge Zone, marvel at displays of LEGO® creations, and build with your family in the Family Build area
• 11:00 am – Contest Room opens – Learning Center
  See the amazing creations entered in the Building Contest and vote for your favorite and take a guess at how many bricks are in the Guessing Jar.
• 1:30 - 3:00 pm – Robotics Workshop with The Parity Bits – grades 4-12 – Teen Workshop
  Registration required.
• 3:00 pm – Award Presentation – Large Meeting Room
  The winners of the building contest, the Viewers Choice award, and the Guessing Jar will be announced and prizes awarded.
