Talk About It: Family Heirlooms
This family has a lot of important objects – the table that grandad built, the napkins that mom made, glasses from their parents’ wedding, and silverware that was a gift from their great-grandma… does your family have any important objects that you use regularly that are special family heirlooms or other family objects that are important to you?
What is an heirloom? An heirloom is an item of special that has been handed down through your family. Grandad’s table may not be an heirloom yet, but it is clearly an object of significance to the family.

I am Thankful Jar
Decorate a jar and give it a name such as the “I am Thankful Jar”. Every day, write down or draw a picture of something for which you are thankful. Each week/month/etc read your thankful notes together.
Grateful ABCs
Think of something that you are grateful for that starts with each letter of the alphabet
Write a Thank You Card – Draw a Thank You picture
Pick someone that you want say thank you to for some reason and write them a note or draw them a picture!
