"Marrett Road trench, looking west just beyond Five Forks. Left Daniel Harrington. Hat pushed back Ellridge W. Glass. Second left is John McDonald. First man in trench is James Tate. Man in jacket is E. W. Glass' brother-in-law? In back winter hat and whiskers Jim Dalrymple. Straw hat is engineer Frank P. Cutter. Also Jim Keefe, Jerry Murphy, Mr. McQuade."
