||Interior of Lyman Lawrence's store, 1915
"Lyman Lawrence came to Lexington in 1866 and started a small harness shop in the shed at rear of the house next above the Savings Bank building. Later he moved his shop into the old Savings Bank building and added hardware. The family lived upstairs in the old bank building and the son Herbert was born there. In 1892 when the Hunt building was built he moved there. After his death his son Herbert carries on until he sold out in 1954.
In the picture, Lyman Lawrence, Frank Haynes, Helen Robb. Year 1915."
