Get a Card and PIN
You may apply for your library card at Cary Memorial Library or at any other Minuteman library.
For Adults and Young Adults (Grade 6 and up)
To get a library card, please bring a piece of identification with your name and current address to one of our Circulation desks. Your card will be issued immediately and may be used the same day at any Minuteman library. Cards are not issued online.
Please remember to bring your library card with you each time you visit. There is no charge for your initial library card. There is, however, a charge for replacement cards.
Children over the age of five and through Grade 5 may apply for a library card if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian with a piece of identification with their name and current address.
Personal Identification Numbers (PIN)
A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is a unique identifier (consisting of 3-30 numbers and/or letters) created by you, either in person at the library or by phone. With a PIN you may access your library account to: see your checked out items, reserve items, renew items, see your fines and pay them online, see your reserves and if they are ready for pick-up.
