Family Crafts - everyone welcome!
Children of all ages and abilities and their caregivers are invited to get crafty with us. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Library Treasure Hunt - entering Grades 4 & 5
Find hidden treasure in the Library! We will divide into teams and follow the clues. It will be harder then you think! One team will receive first prize, but everyone will get to bring home some treasure.

10th Annual Ice Cream Social- for all ages
Come join us for ice cream from Rancatore's to wrap up the summer reading program. Held on the lawn across Clarke St from the Library. No registration required.

Art of Bugs - Grades 1-3
Be an entomologist and start your own naturalist journal! We'll be using art to document what we learn about North America's giant silk moths. You'll get to see specimens and examine cocoons and learn how they are made.

Pinot's Palette - Grades K-2 and 3-5
Join us at Pinot's Palette (7A Merriam St, Lexington) for a fun art and science-themed afternoon! Little artists will learn how to create beautiful art pieces with recyclable materials. Children will explore color mixing and new painting techniques to create their own fall narrative.

What is a Pollinator? - Grades K-2
Who are the pollinators and why do we call them that? Students will be introduced to the interrelationship between flowers and pollinators through interactive games, stories, and crafts. They will make native wildflower seed balls to take with them to plant for next season's pollinators.
