Lynne’s interest in photography evolved over many years, with extensive world travel providing a "vast opportunity to explore the common experiences of day to day life, no matter where we live." Both Archway at the Roussillon Tower and Blue Door were taken during an art trip to Provence, France. They are "…gateways of a sort, welcoming the viewer to explore more and appreciate the beauty of the moments there." Her photo collage of the Interfaith Garden, meanwhile, depicts a community effort she is involved with close to home: the garden, now completing its fourth year, is a group effort involving volunteers from 12 faith groups in the Lexington area who come together twice weekly to raise produce for the Lexington Food Pantry.
