Arthur Sharenow has explored all aspects of photography, starting with sports photography during his long tenure as a camp director. Then in 1996, a trip to Africa encouraged him to explore wildlife and nature photography. Today, he wants "… to see as much of the world and its people as [he] possibly can and document it all with pictures.... The sounds, the smells, and the sights of each of these countries are very different." Arthur's images span the globe, capturing dozens of locations from Alaska to Africa to Antarctica during both personal travel and photography workshops.
Arthur has exhibited at the Cary Library, Brookline Library, Brookline Art Center and the Goddard House in Brookline. He is a perennial winner at monthly print competitions held by the prestigious Boston Camera Club and has won numerous awards in local and regional photo contests.
