Dominique LeComte is a French printmaker, photographer, and writer, whose works describe a memory more than a particular scene. A seasoned traveler, he never works on the spot; instead, he senses the "... colors, the surroundings, the sounds," and only later transfers the impressions of life and nature to paper. He then allows his colorful, warm, and somewhat mysterious images to "…make you smile, or travel, or imagine."
